5. Nicollet Mall

DOWNTOWN.   Located downtown, Nicollet Mall encompasses several Minneapolis stores and shopping centers. Spacious sidewalks and tree-lined streets lead shoppers to stores including Crate and Barrel, a two-story Target, Neiman Marcus, Saks Off Fifth and Macy’s. Numerous smaller boutiques and eateries line the streets of this upscale Minneapolis shopping district, and many areas are conveniently connected by Skywalk. The opening of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” was filmed here, and is commemorated by a bronze statue depicting the famous cap toss.   (© 10Best)

So Fun! Nicollet Mall is a street and a mall in one. It's just an experience. Businessmen/women are always dining and walking the "mall". There are tons of happy hour specials and wonderful places to eat. If it's winter, the Minneapolis sky way connects the buildings so you don't even have to go outside. The whole thing is an experience!
