GULF SHORES.   One of South Alabama's more popular getaway spots, Gulf Shores offers several opportunities to enjoy its attractive shoreline. Primarily, there's Gulf Shores Public Beach, which offers changing facilities, a boardwalk, open-air pavilions, and picnic areas. Numerous access points to Gulf Shores Beach can be found along Highway 182, including at the pavilion, 13th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 2nd Streets. Meanwhile, Lagoon Park, located at Lee Callaway Bridge, offers calm, shallow waters, restroom facilities, and plenty of parking.   (© 10Best)
