ST-JOVITE.   This warm, country-style restaurant, recipient of numerous local and regional honors, offers an "enchanting" departure from the resort area's more crowded options. Indeed, for a quarter of a decade, locals and savvy visitors to the region have held this romantic little hideaway in high regard. Featured à la carte entrées include the savory likes of medallions of caribou in Madère sauce, escalope of veal with sauce cream and sauté of chicken with maple sauce. A highly recommended prix fixe is also available, featuring such artistry as the chef's special game pie and Ragoût de pattes et boulletes (pig knuckle and meat balls).
