4. Monaco Classic Week

The Buzz -- Situated on the Mediterranean coast, the Principality of Monaco has forever shared a near-symbiotic relationship with the sea. As such, Monégasques welcome to Port Hercule every other fall a host of sailing and yachting aficionados from around the world. They come to celebrate all things nautical, admire each other's crafts, and participate in a wide range of competitions. Festivities are hosted by the illustrious Monaco Yacht Club, which was founded in 1888 and is one of Europe's oldest such organizations.
