4. La Condamine

LA CONDAMINE.   Located south of place du Casino, La Condamine area is a favorite haunt of first-time tourists and boating enthusiasts who dock or drop anchor in Port de Monaco. Rue Princesse-Caroline is a traditional, European-style, pedestrian thoroughfare loaded with shops and vendors selling wares of all shapes and sizes; rue Grimaldi, meanwhile, is the La Condamine main drag, a busy commercial street boasting everything from souvenir shops. Place d'Armes, at the westernmost end of rue Grimaldi, is home to a large flower and produce market in the mornings.   (© 10Best)
