GRANVILLE.   Visitors with an appreciation of history and a taste for fine Caribbean dining flock to Belfield 1794. Located in the great house at Barnett Estate, the restaurant serves a variety of dishes in traditional "dutchies," or cast-iron pots. These dishes include beef filet cooked in plantain wine and sweet potato pudding, curry-spiced goat, and a traditional Jamaican favorite called jerk, which combines slow-roasted meat and allspice, thyme, and a variety of other local spices.
