10. Rambla

A port city, Montevideo boasts the sights and sounds of the sea and a port market that's bustling with activity and houses restaurants, bars and shops. The Rambla makes for an enjoyable stroll and provides visitors with a chance to catch the energy of this seaside city. Walk along Montevideo's promenade that runs along the Rio de la Plata beach.
