7. Tres Cruces

Concurrently a shopping mall and a bus station, Tres Cruces stands as the answer to the country's one-time transportation nightmare. This mixed-use facility was the brainchild of a group of bus line executives desperately looking for a way to centralize the country's bus service with a hub in the city's capital. A large bus depot that could also serve as a popular shopping destination crystallized as the answer.
