A non-profit cooperative started in 1968 by five women, Manos del Uruguay offers high quality woolen sweaters, capes, scarves, shawls, blankets, rugs and tapestries as well as a variety of other hand-produced goods including leather goods and wood items. The Uruguayan wool is harvested, hand-dyed and crafted into the finished product by rural craftspeople. Visit the Punta Carretas Shopping Center's Manos shop to peruse the inventory and select a piece for yourself.

ok, i come from Uruguay and ive never heard of this place....oh and also i only put wutev just to get to write this comment......dont feel special dat u got a comment...i wasnt going to write it....ill call my cuzins in Uruguay to see if this place really exsits
