DOWNTOWN.
Hank Williams was truly a legend in his own time. He was one of the best country artists of all time. At the age of 12, Hank won his first talent show at the Empire Theatre in Montgomery. He and his band "The Drifting Cowboys" performed at numerous places in the Montgomery area. The country music legend gave his last performance in Montgomery three days before his death. So it only seems appropriate that the museum memorializing this legend be located in his adopted hometown of Montgomery, AL. Inside the museum are artifacts from the life, career, family and friends of Hank Williams. Among other Williams' mementoes, the museum features the 1952 Cadillac in which he rode on his final journey.
