9. Rosa Parks Library and Museum

DOWNTOWN.   This new museum honors the noble Civil Rights heroine and also helps visitors to understand the monumental significance of her refusal to relinquish her bus seat. Visitors learn how the Rosa Parks incident began the Montgomery Bus Boycott which helped spawn the Civil Rights Movement. The downtown building also houses the TROY-Montgomery Campus Library.   (© 10Best)
