8. Oakwood Cemetery Annex

NORTH OF DOWNTOWN.   This historic cemetery dates back to the early 1800's and is the burial site for many of Alabama's forefathers. Look for the monument featuring a white, stone-carved, cowboy hat that marks the grave of Hank Williams. The country music legend gave his last performance in Montgomery three days before his death.   (© 10Best)
