5. Jubilee Seafood

I travel to Montgomery on occassion and I make sure to go to Jubilees every trip. It is the best seafood house in the south. Friendly service, unique sauces for the fish and a reasonable price. I recommend Jubilee's to everyone I travel with.

A very very long wait for mediocre seafood served with barely acceptable sides and average, at best, service. Prices are high for the portions and drink prices are not a bargain either. I wouldn't refer anyone to this restauraunt.

Great Seafood: tuna, grouper, or tiger shark, perfectly prepared. Famous "West Indies fish salad"(a really good ceviche) deserves to be famous. And the Key Lime Pie. To be honest, I've never liked KLP: it is too sweet for me. But THIS version is marvelously light, piquant, interesting!
