10. Les FrancoFolies de Montréal

The Buzz -- This vibrant, well-attended festival is one of the highlights of Montréal's summer schedule. It pays tribute to the city's French population and heritage with an extensive menu of French-language music and bands. The event draws enormous crowds, who come to savor the eclectic musical performances and take advantage of the free, outdoor concerts. A number of indoor events are available as well, which, like the rest of the festival, concentrate on world music and developing trends. Terrific atmosphere and international flair.
