8. L'International des Feux Loto-Québec

The Buzz -- This world-renowned fireworks competition takes place on several Wednesdays and Saturdays each summer. Pyrotechnicians from around the world create spectacular displays lasting for a half-hour that coordinate visual splendor with dramatic musical scores. Colorful fireworks light the sky, delighting onlookers who marvel at the technical coordination and artistry that go into each exhibition. Although the best vantage points are in the amusement park, tickets are required for in the grandstand. For less money, visitors can watch from along the river or from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
