About Montréal Events
Like any large city, Montréal has plenty of public events. Most are clustered in the spring and summer months (May through August) and around the winter holidays (November and December) but there's always something going on somewhere, year-round. Québécois celebrate everything from literature, film, and literature to beer and wine, chocolate, and tennis. In addition, there are bicycling festivals, all sorts of performing arts events, a Chinese dragon boat race and, of course, Canada Day, dubbed Célafête in Québec.
