Montréal may indeed be the heart of Francophone Québec, but tourists find evening entertainment of every stripe. For a neighborhood vibe, Les Deux Pierrots, Madhatter and the Shed are fun and full of local color. The humble Irish pub has grown in popularity here as much as it has in other parts of the world – try Hurley's or LA Vieux Dublin. The trendy lounge scene hasn't skipped Montréal any more than the Irish pub phenomenon. You'll find a number of very chill, very stylish lounges around town. Suite 701 and the W Hotel's Wunderbar are great for a swanky evening; check out A Go Go or Bily Kun for a more relaxed vibe. The club scene, too, is thriving with several options in the Gay Village, so if you're in the mood to get funky, you certainly can – 1234 Club, Club Unity, Le Complexe Millennium and Stéréo are all excellent destinations for a night on the dance floor.
