6. Mile End Bar

A trendy multi-level lounge that frequently sees line-ups, Mile End is something of an anomaly. Part of the appeal is its ridiculously stylish interior design. That sort of thing frequently attracts the upper echelon of the club-going population, but there's a distinct lack of pretension here, so those of us in the less-than-fabulous demographic can also appreciate it.
