Montréal-style bagels are denser and chewier than their New York counterparts, and most locals will tell you that Fairmount makes the best. There are 20 or so varieties, all baked in a wood-fired oven. Flavors range from plain, sesame seed and onion to pesto-black olive, spelt and chocolate chip.
