7. Le Latini

Although the restaurant is beautiful and the location (close to Place des Arts and many upscale hotels) convenient for tourists, this restaurant is overpriced and the food less than authentic. This restaurant caters to businesspeople more than gourmets. There is better Italian food in this city and this is a far cry from the quality you find in Italy. My pasta was insipid and the cake possibly stale. If you must go, the lunch special (all inclusive) is reasonable at $15-$30. Unfortunately, none of this place's 'famous' stuff like risotto or tiramisu (recipe featured on the internet prominently) seems to be part of that special.

Beautiful ambiance. Romantic decor. Food was very good, or at least my seafood risotto was. Service was average. We had to fill our own wine glasses. But despite the little nic nacs here and there my experience at Le Latini was indeed pleasurable and will be returning in the future.

The waiter chose a nice bottle and that's about it. The food was so sub-par that we ended up getting room service at the hotel afterwards.

The food was amazing, the service friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. What a memorable evening! I highly recommend this place.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous. The variety of food is amazing, and although I only had soup, pasta and a dessert, they were all of great quality. Seems as thought it can be a very busy place sometimes, but service was always available and prompt. Very friendly staff.

I tried to get some menu suggestions for a party of 8 people yesterday, and got the worst treatment ever. I was actually hung up on. Hope that food and service are actually better, I am never going to find out myself though. Too much attitude too little service!

What can I say? It is a hip establishment, but not a place to savor true Italian cuisine. The cellar was impressive, but other than that, I was truly disappointed.

I've been to many Italian restaurants and this is a great one. From start to finish my experience at Le Latini was A1. Service, food and wine were superb.

Very good food, tried the filet mignon and the prosciutto. A little expensive but wine and food was excellent.

By far, the worst high-end Italian restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. I've had better scaloppini at Giorgio's. The waiter could not pour wine to save his life. Overpriced, overcooked, I'm surprised that celebrities flock to this place.

A fresh variety of fish and tasteful presentations. You can't ask for better service with their charming waiters.
