4. Crescent Street

So named because it once followed a curved path, this street has become one of Montréal's premiere destinations for nightlife and fashion. A variety of hip cafés and clubs lines the street, and many of them feature terraces that give patrons a chance to see and be seen. In recent years, designer boutiques have sprung up in the area and attract well-to-do professionals and fashionistas alike. The district is especially popular with English-speaking residents and visitors. Simply stroll down the street and head for the places that catch your attention.
