The Buzz -- It took about 100 years for the Swiss to agree not to work on their national day; if you’re in country on August 1st, you’ll be glad they did. The fireworks go up in Montreux, of course, but the revelry spreads into even the tiniest villages. Barbecues, concerts, brunches on farms, festivals in the streets … with the high quality of life, there’s much to celebrate. |
