2. Charlie's Bar

Charlie's Bar is upstairs from El Gringo but a world apart in atmosphere (although décor-wise, the '80s never left here either). This Wi-Fi accessible bar boasts TV screens usually tuned to sport channels, and inexpensive drinks. Popular with snowboarders and skiers during winter; quiet or closed off-season. Villars is accessible by train (one stop to Aigle) and then a bus (to Villars Center).   (© 10Best)
