6. Fuji

Lakeside locales, Alpine backdrops and the finest chocolate in the world are all well and good; but you never know when that prawn dumpling craving will steal over you and make you its plaything. When it does, take refuge in Fuji. The cuisine is prudently pan-Asian, and the reasonably-priced menu resembles an encyclopaedia of sushi, noodle and curry dishes.
