DOWNTOWN.   This much-favored brewpub – West Virginia's first – crafts some of the region's best homebrewed beers, especially lagers and ales. In addition to standards like Blackwater Stout and Appalachian Ale, you'll also find seasonal brews. A great menu of pub fare is supplemented by terrific dinner specials, and an outdoor deck offers a fantastic place to hang out by the river when the weather's nice. 	"Flotsam" more than a month ago
This place has great microbrews, but they are incredibly expensive! $2.50 for a little 12 oz glass is too much, especially in a college town. There seems to be a problem with management or organization or something there. The sign on the door and also their menus say they are closed on Sundays. But they're not. They open at 4 pm. Also the menu has a bunch of weird typos in it, most notably: "cedar cheese" instead of "cheddar". Great beer but they need to get their act together!
