DOWNTOWN.   Intended to emulate Bean Town's 19th-century taverns, this regional chain got its start in Morgantown in 1983. Today, the enterprise boasts a handful of locations that prove popular with young professionals. Inside High Street's comfortable, tastefully-decorated restaurant, folks dig into pastas, ribs, steaks, seafood, burgers, and salads. The Salads and appetizers are good. But there are better restaurants that are less expensive.

I find both the management and clientele of this establishment to be pretentious. The food is overpriced and below average in quality. Only go here if you are trying to be a show-off. If you want a good meal, Morgantown has better alternatives.
