Austernkeller ("oyster celler") serves Munich's largest selection of bivalves and seafood, all fresh and flown in daily. Specialties include Maryland-style crab cakes, sesame-encrusted scampi and foie gras with glazed apple and red-wine sauce. The décor is Bavarian and the atmosphere is casual with cozy booths. Close to the Isar Tor, the restaurant is easy to reach by public transportation, but the entrance is subterranean so be alert on the street.   (© 10Best)
