I live here. All summer this restaurant was packed with people waiting for seating. Finally in Oct. it was not crowded, so we ate there. Big woop...big disappointment. I expected a menu with 10 hamburger choices, like Bacon Cheese Burger, Chili Cheeseburger, Mushroom Bacon Swiss, Peanutbutter Burger. They had Hamburger and Cheeseburger. That's it. Oh! you can add....tomatoes, lettuce and onions. Wow! Are all those people that waited an hour for a table all summer complete idiots?!? I ordered a Cheeseburger. The patty was 1/16" thick!!! It was like having a Wendy's kid meal hamburger. Good grief!! What a disappointment. I left hungry. There were golfers sitting at the table next to us. They ate their hamburgers, then order seconds because they were still hungry. From the reviews, I was thinking after a few beers this place might be as great as all of the reviews. Evidently I was wrong. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. The signs out front says they are celebrating 20 years in business. How they managed to stay in business 20 weeks is beyond me.

This place is hands-down one of the best kept secrets in North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach. Casual and cheap but the burgers are out of this world.

Great hamburger and fries, friendly people. It all makes for a great stop on a great vacation to MB, SC.

The hamburger and fries are very small portions. Anything more than two toppings cost extra. I did not get a refill on my overpriced ($1.50) 12oz drink. The last time I payed $15.00 for a hamburger meal this small I was being held captive at a Disney resort. I have no plans to return to Hamburger Joe's in the future.

Awesome place to eat. I found this place 11 years ago. And since then I have yet to make a trip to the beach without eating here 3 or 4 times.

We come to Myrtle Beach every year for one of our vacations and NEVER miss going to Hamburger Joes. If you don't go to Joe's you don't know what you’re missing. It's reasonably priced. It is friendly. There are a variety of choices. I usually end up with a hamburger and wings just because I can't decide! Anyway, TRY IT , you won't be disappointed.
