10. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is the place to get introduced to some of Florida's most famous – not to mention indigenous – residents. This mangrove swamp area is actually a treasure trove of wildlife: snakes, turtles, alligators, bald eagles, and others.
