Hailing from Wakefield, Massachusetts, Captain Brien and his family felt that a true New England style eatery should be shared across the country. After starting Satisfaction Guaranteed Fishing Charters in 1996 which soon became South Florida's largest fishing fleet, Captain Brien and his father, Santo Spina, decided to fill the void in July of 2001 with the opening of the original Captain Brien's Seafood and Roast Beef in Marco Island, Fl. Even before the opening of our first location, the Captain decided that ONLY the freshest seafood will do. In keeping with that tradition, our New England seafood is flown in daily. Captain Brien’s also offers many popular local species which are fresh off the boats of local fishing fleets. Each and every day, the Captain and crew carefully select and hand filet your fish to ensure that you are getting the very best seafood available. From our Lobster Martini or succulent Scallop Florentine to our Award Winning Key Lime Pie, everything is prepared fresh from scratch and cooked to order. Today, the original Captain Brien's Seafood and Roast beef has been converted into Captain Brien's Seafood and Raw Bar with locations extending across the country while keeping the small island feel. Captain Brien’s transforms into Off The Hook Comedy Club when the sun goes down. The crowd enjoys comedy shows, music, dancing and daily drink specials. We bring in acts from all over the country.
