10. USPS Post Office – Naples

I'm mostly pleased with the Naples post office system. We live in a rural part of the county and they faithfully deliver the mail - AND pick it up right from our door. The 4 stars instead of five has to do with what happens to the mail once in gets to Ft Myers for processing. Naples to out of state is quick. Naples to Naples is much slower. I run a business, NeighborHelp Referrals (and have a non-profit Collier County website: http://free.naplesplus.us ) and we use direct mail a LOT for advertising. Sometimes the postcards get stuck in Ft Myers for a long time. It's not the Naples post office's fault - at least I don't think - but it does lower things down a star. (I don't even use 3rd class postage - I use 1st class) - they need to work more closely with Ft Myers' (Lee County)'s post office to ensure faster delivery from Naples to Naples - or perhaps come up with their own internal system for delivering Collier County mail. Otherwise, they're great - and even if it takes a couple of weeks sometimes with the cards -- they DO always get to where they should go. Keep up the good work, and if you see flouresent yellow card that says, "Hearing Noises in your Attic?" that's one of mine! -Kenneth Udut
