This was the best pizzeria in all of the world considering Naples is where it all started. In 1997, we ate there on a casual evening and men in suits and ear pieces came in to scope it out followed by a distinguished gentleman. The entire restaurant stood up and applauded. Not wanting to snub a big mafia guy, we stood and applauded. After he briefly nodded at our table, a fellow Italian said, "Do you know who he is? You have your Clinton (our then president)... he is ours." The president of Italy was eating at O'Calamaro! And even he claimed it was the best.

I spent eight months in Italy and this was my favorite restaurant. Inexpensive, great food, and fun hosts.
