ELLISTON PLACE.   A popular spot for up-and-coming artists (along with those who have already made a name for themselves), this club hosts everyone from local punk bands to nationally known rock and country performers. The establishment has been around for a few decades now and is still going strong. I caught the DRI show on 26 July. Screamed myself hoarse, drank good beer, had a GREAT time. I would’ve been back for Ozric Tentacles on the 28th but I had to work that night. Nice basic bar environment: good beer, fast service, great bands.
