DOWNTOWN.   Located just one block from the Cumberland River, this is THE place in Nashville for line dancing, or any kind of dancing that you can do to a country rhythm. There's a 3300 square foot dance floor, on which you can dance your heart away, and the staff gives dance lessons every night. Patrons should phone ahead to see if there's a live act or DJ on any given night. The kitchen serves fine Southern cooking as well, including their famous award-winning barbeuce and ribs served with beans and slaw.   (© 10Best)

This is one of our favorite Second Avenue stops. Lines of ready-to-move dancers waiting to enter snake along the sidewalk on Friday and Saturday nights. Once inside, they encounter the club's three levels, complete with the largest dance floor in town, a full-service restaurant, and a billiard room. The Wildhorse has hosted many television productions, including Nashville Star, Can You Duet?, and Gone Country. (from Southern Living)

This place is HUGE 3 levels of seating and bars, service is just OK, some of the bartenders act like they're doing you a favor to get you a drink. The decor is lots of fun with many photo ops. unless you're looking for mobs of people, daytime is the best time to visit here.
