GREEN HILLS.   Bluebird Café is a must-see for all music fans. The quiet, smoke-free venue is a great place to hear Nashville's up-and-coming singer-songwriters perform before they hit the big time. Garth Brooks and Kathy Mattea are just two well-known singers who have played. Since it's a popular spot, make reservations in advance, and don't forget to observe the "Shhh!" rule while the music's playing! Best. Night. Ever. Music fan nirvana or musician heaven, I am not sure, but it is one or the other (or both). The proximity to the musicians , the shhhhh policy, and the intimacy fit together to produce the BEST night of music ever.

The Bluebird has the greatest wait staff in the world!Crowded and a shhhh policy, they still make it around to all the tables with a smile. I've never gotten my order wrong or had my evening of art in song disrupted.
