1. F. Scott's Restaurant and Jazz Bar

My Husband and I visited this restaurant because we loved the vibe it put out, and could hear the jazz spilling out of the restaurant from the street. We decided to go on a very special night, made reservations, and were greeted by a very friendly and attentive staff. Overall the service was great, and the bar and music were excellent, but the food was just so-so. Don't get me wrong - it LOOKS amazing, but the flavors left one wanting more. My husbands braised veal tasted more like Mama's pot roast, and my cornish game hen, which was no more than a pounded out breast, rolled up with pate filling was just unimpressive. Sorry, F Scott's - you've got a wonderful vibe, but your food didn't thrill us.
