MUSIC ROW. Virago is a trendy locale known for its seafood, sushi and happening bar scene. The young and restless enjoy fresh seafood and fusion fare, such as honey-banana grouper and sesame-seared mahi mahi with sweet potatoes. The tuna-tartare and "Between the Sheets" dessert are excellent as well. Make sure to make reservations, as this is a popular place on any night of the week. At night, Virago becomes one of the trendiest bars in town. While sipping one of their famous martinis at the S-shaped bar, the honky-tonks of neighboring streets will become a distant memory and you'll start to feel like you're in a big city.

A popular spot for up-and-coming artists (along with those who have already made a name for themselves), this club hosts everyone from local punk bands to nationally known rock and country performers. The establishment has been around for about 50 years and is still going strong. If you're a fan of country music lore, check out the pictures along the walls that catalog the Exit/In's storied past. Past musicians have included Steve Earle, Shelby Lynne, and Seven Mary Three. Performers and showtimes vary.

MIDTOWN. Hailed as the best brew house in Nashville, the Broadway Brewhouse serves 72 beers on tap and over 175 bottle varieties. The beer complements the Cajun food offered on the menu. The mellow dive-bar feel provides a relaxed place to chill, drink beer, and throw a round of darts while shaking off the troubles of the work week. Their fun open air bar overlooks Broadway.
