8. The Poop Deck

Not worth one star
I'm picky (at least I admit it)...I work in the hospitality industry and grew up in restaurants. This was the only restaurant that we didn't have a positive experience at. We were in Nassau last September and will be back in another month. We will not be returning to eat Poop. In my mind there is one way to do it...and that is the right way. The Poop Deck stunk from begining to end. It's not because I'm hard to please...it was bad. The service was slow and uncaring. The cleanliness was an issue. The food non-descript and overpriced. I have no doubt that the people writing the positive reviews either work there or have no clue. Avoid the Poop Deck

Great experience. Location is not great, not near any major attractions. But definitely worth taking a night out and enjoying their great food and wonderful service, not to mention the beach view!

This was the worst food I had on my third trip to Nassau. I walked in with by fiance and brother and a man walked around us waited a minute then looked us up and down. We were dressed appropriately so I'm not sure what his deal was. He was an American man I believe to be the owner. I then asked him a question about the resturant and he was very rude. The menu was seafood and salads. The salads were horrible and the bill was a suprise to me. 2 salads and 3 crab legs, and 3 cokes, 59.00. What the heck was going on. I paid and left hungry and upset. I have been to many resturants in Nassau this was by far the worst.

Excellent food and wonderful selections to choose from. Beautiful location right on the waterfront on Cable Beach. The fish is always fresh and I love how the restaurant will serve it any way you want it cooked. Great steak as well and I love their chocolate mousse desert which has bits of chocolate morsels in it.

The view and the waiters/waitress' were great. The food was excellent.
