20. New Haven Symphony Orchestra

ARTS DISTRICT.   This is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the United States, and each season it continues to present a unique and entertaining slate of events. The annual concert series is held in the lovely Woolsey Hall on the Yale campus, while free summer performances are held on the New Haven Green. Visiting companies from around the world are frequently featured, as are renowned guest soloists.   (© 10Best)
