8. Alchemy Nightclub

I'd only recommend this place to my enemies.
ATTENTION, If your a dude thats a little bit on the boisterous side, ..dont go there. The Bouncers think there big shots and cater to the women while looking for the slightest reason to kick the males out. . Last time I was there some cheap shot scumbag bouncer pushed me face down the stairs when my back was turned. Thus reason being is because prior to this he let my little 19 y.o. cousin whom he didnt know into a "21 and up" private party on the otherside of the 21 and under section, while telling me to "stay back, this is a private party.". When I brought this to his attention he got all puffy chested with me and then his sidekick came out of no where and that was the end of that. So, if your a guy lookin to go downtown, dont go here unless your possibly looking for a rough night in the mini police state of down town New Haven. Be careful you dont get too freaky with the girls on the dance floor either because the time before this, I was at this club dancing with some chick that was all up on me,and I wasnt even drunk yet cause it was early about 11pm and the place was packed elbow to elbow, BUT before I knew it some scumbag punched me in the back of the head, and who do you think grabbed ME and threw ME out mili-seconds later,...Yup, the good old bouncers at Alchemy. It was as if they set the shit up because He was RIght there literally seconds after I got hit on a packed dance floor. I dont take kindly to this scamming establishment. SO, If you go, make sure you bring a tight group of friends. And make sure your cell phones are working in case you get the boot, because if you get kicked out for making the wrong move and have left something inside, you aint getting back inside to get it.

This club is the worst possible club in new haven. The people they have working there are a bunch of racist scumbags. Three of my friends entered alchemy then called me to let me know they were there. so a friend and myself pay 8 dollars to get in. We go upstairs to were my friends were. We enter this room on the second floor. Immediately we were confronted by a bouncer there. He starts yelling at us to get out, tells us we need to come back from the other side and pay extra to get in. I request this bouncer can i talk to my friends for a quick second to get some money from them so we can go around and pay extra to get in since i left my wallet in my car. The guy keeps yelling at me to get the FUCK out ...i ask him again sir can i please just talk to my friends and get some cash ...i dont think i was disrespectful to this guy but out of no where he puts me in a choke hold...squeezing my neck like he wanted to kill me...pushes me out door...then throws me down the stairs...i had my arms up at this point yelling at me i have done nothing wrong !!! the bouncer continues to be aggressive with me..once he throws me down the stairs ...3 other bouncers at this club start to kick me while iw as down on the floor...they are punching me ..i had my arms open so i was trying to block them from punching me in the face...these scumbags continue to punch me all over. my chest my face . the bouncer that first got me in a choke hold and threw me down the stairs is there as well dragging me on the floor.. thye kick me out..my friends saw all this and follow me out. once outside the club, these racist bouncers start talking shit to me. i ask to speak to a manager or someone in charge....no one responds . i called the cops but the cop said that since its the owners choice when it comes to kicking people out they cant do anything about it. DO NOT GO THIS PIECE OF SHIT CLUB ...BUNCH OF RACIST SCUBAGS WORKING THERE THAT THINK THEY HAVE ALL THIS ATTORITY CUZ THEY ARE BOUNCERS. THE GUY HAD NO REASON TO TREAT ME THIS WAY .. HE WAS JUST BEING A ASSHOLE !!!!!!
