EDITOR REVIEW: NEW LONDON. This charming Victorian home dates from the 1840s and was playwright Eugene O'Neill's summer home for much of his early life. It was named after a role his actor-father played and made famous. O'Neill himself set two of his plays in the home, "Long Day's Journey into Night" and "Ah, Wilderness!" Today, the structure offers period furnishings, family photographs, and other memorabilia of O'Neill's works and life. He was the recipient of both a Nobel and Pulitzer Prizes.
