Bartenders are typical ... call ya hon' show you a little bit of attention. 3 or 4 drinks later it is beeyautch central in that place. A pathetic attempt of coyote ugly. Drinks' are way overpriced. No glass is allowed outside on the deck however same price inside as outside for half the booze. However food is great. Other than that the joint is top notch.

Awful. That's all I can say. No control over the very young crowd, noisy, and the water view is between two tall buildings. The food is mediocre.

The water "view" is definitely for the tall guys - standing up during the meal, in a particular spot. The outdoor space was only expanded last month but really is fabulous atmosphere relative to the area. The food takes you back to 1790, so stick with drinks, apps and ambience.

A real New England tavern with great food, fast friendly service and comfortable atmosphere! The seasonal outdoor deck now sports a large patio that presents a water view and is a real treat. There's even a Tiki Bar in the roof covered patio area! Come and enjoy!

I had the best Baked Stuffed Shrimp in the world. I ate outside on the patio and had a great time! I will be back!

Downtown New London is better than ever since the opening of the Bulkeley House. My dinner was delicious and the staff was great!
