FRENCH QUARTER.   A popular spot for special occasions, this chic dining room occupies a converted warehouse and offers splendid seafood and an extensive bar. The frequently changing menu offers delicacies from the sea such as wood grilled lemonfish with asparagus, lump crab and lobster butter. Tender USDA choice filet or wood grilled chicken appeal to non-fish eaters. Seventy wines are available by the bottle or the glass.   (© 10Best)

Perfection!
I tried GW Fins for the first time this past weekend, and I have to say I was extremely impressed. As someone who has traveled extensively and dined in fabulous restaurants all over the world, I rank this restaurant up there with the best. The dining room is spacious and well decorated, and the tables are far enough apart so that you're not elbow-to-elbow with other patrons. I loved that in lieu of bread, someone from the kitchen walked around with a cookie sheet of freshly baked biscuits! A homey touch in an upclass setting. My server was well trained and attentive. For my appetizer I got the Lobster Dumplings. They were to DIE for!! One of my dinner guests got the same, and I saw him wipe away a tear of happiness. Entrees change daily as fish is served the day it's brought in. I had a Pompano with asparagus and jumbo lump crab meat that was perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and stunningly presented. Desert was the Molten Chocolate Cake - so warm and melty that it seemed sinful to eat! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and look forward to the chance when I can dine there again.
