WAREHOUSE DISTRICT.   A stage, dance floor, colorful murals and a giant paper mache accordion flank this lively dinner venue. Start off the night with a cold beer and New Orleans-style hors d' oeuvre such as grilled alligator, fried crawfish tails, stuffed mushrooms, or Zydeco meat pies. For dinner, Catfish Mulate's, topped with catfish étouffée and served with jambalya, haricots verts and a twice-baked potato, appears on the specialty menu. Live music nightly.   (© 10Best)

Seriously? This place is on the list?? Mulate's is a tourist paradise. It's a fun atmosphere but the food is pretty crappy. Save your money and go down Magazine Street to a small snowball stand T-Eva's Soul food and pay $5 for better food and actually see the city.
