Great Food -- Cool Atmosphere Even for NOLA
My stuffed quail was very good and well de-breasted. I tasted the Carper Bagger Special Steak. Yum. The stuffed pork chop looked better than both...but I did not get to try. VERY IMPRESSIVE menu which included a number of game selections. Only thing I did not like is that they got so busy before we left the host and hostess began yelling names as tables became available. They a better seating system because the yelling was plain obnoxious. Don't let the seating keep you away though. I am lucky enough to find myself in NOLA five or six times a year; I have eaten at what most folks consider the best restaurants, and this is definately top five. Eric
