CBD.   Located in the St. James Hotel, this restaurant is new to the city's culinary scene. The chef creates dishes touched by French and Spanish traditions – dishes with strong flavors that sate the appetite. Some call this New Orleans nouveau cuisine. Denizens recommend the smoked salmon tasso for an appetizer, the sugar cane-smoked duck breast for a main course and lemon meringue cake with regional strawberries for dessert.
