9. Carol Robinson Gallery

UPTOWN.   Southern figurative works by Jerry Allen, and post-impressionist pieces by Sonia Kouyoumdjian are just two schools of artwork on display at this local gallery. Located in a turn-of-the-century two-story house, the Carol Robinson Gallery is both spacious and welcoming. Art is displayed in well-lit spaces that span 3000 square feet, and there is even a relaxing sculpture garden. Very worth the cab ride. Beautiful art in a wonderful old Uptown home. Very eclectic collection from regional artists, all of wonderful quality. The people were extremely friendly and talkative and never pushed at all. The prices are also very good. B
