Rooms contain antiques such as armoires and claw foot bathtubs. There are stained glass skylights and detailed mahogany stairs. This hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wrought iron balconies, shutters, and a lobby full of antiques give this hotel a rich, formal appearance, but the staff is down-to-earth and friendly.
