Surely one of the most magnificent museums I've ever seen. It's enormous with works and exhibits to please just about every taste imaginable. The best thing about the Met though, is that it is always changing. There's always some new traveling exhibit or show which keeps me coming back. In December ('99) I was there to see an Egyptology exhibit...who knows what will entice me next time! Well worth the price of admission. The cafeteria isn't bad and the replicas in the gift shop are great. "The Met" was the featured museum in the somewhat recent theatrical release "The Thomas Crown Affair"...
