31. Historic Richmond Town

STATEN ISLAND.   Take a step back through time when you visit Historic Richmond Town, a settlement that dates back to the 17th century. This living museum offers glimpses of colonial buildings, furnishings, and tools – much of it original. Highlights of the tour include stops at the Courthouse, the Stephens-Black House and General Store with their authentic period décor, and the home where Elizabeth Lake Tysen was born.
